We welcome you to our lovely, traditional, English home in the Somerset village of Street.
Street is famous in the UK as the home of Clarks shoes.
Our large house was built in 1880, The 1881 census shows a bootmaker, Mr Fox, lived in our house with his wife and five daughters.
There is a lovely, traditional AGA in the Kitchen. Students enjoy cooking dishes from their own country on it. We love good food, can cater for all dietary requirements and our meals are always freshly cooked and varied.
Our sunny, yellow breakfast room is where we have lessons during the day and eat dinner at night.
These rooms have comfortable sofas, a television, open fire and doors leading into the garden.
The Annex room has a spacious lounge with settee and TV, double bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Equipped with free WIFI and desk for private study.
Our guest bedrooms offer a wide choice of accommodation. This allow us to provide for guests and enable family or friends to stay during your course. All are equipped with free WIFI and desk for private study.
The Family room can accommodate up to five guests.
The Double room has the option of a shower room.
The Twin room has the option of a private bathroom
When the weather is warm, enjoy the peaceful surroundings on our sunny patio, listen to the birds and enjoy the sweet smells of the beautiful flowers and plants in our English garden.
Lunch and English lessons can be held in the garden on sunny days.
